Bansko is currently hosting the alpine skiing World Cup competition after 25 years’ absence from the international scene. Bulgaria’s number one winter resort will entertain the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup 2009 – not one but two events of the womens’ race, and the most dramatic ones at that – the super-giant and downhill.
